Hello, my name is Martin and just received a diagnosis for Aspergers Syndrome so looking to gain an understanding on how I can move forward from this point and make more sense of the confused world I have lived in. Diagnosis has come quite late as I am 56 years old, but as the saying goes better late than never.
Already begun reading some of the stories on here, so thank you for sharing them and hope to make friends as I begin a new chapter.
Thank you Song.
Hello Martin. Welcome to a new world of people who are not stuck in a NT box.
Thank you.
Wonderfully different is the way to look at it. Speech therapist used the term yesterday "Wired in a different and exciting way" and then went to say that neurotypicals would remain in the stone age without radical non-conforming thinkers, which I definitely took as a positive.
welcome - I'm in my 40s, just diagnosed. Finding this site very helpful!
No, i’m taking that back - not miswired, just wonderfully “different”... lol
Hi Martin56
Welcome aboard. I’m 43 and just been referred by my GP and currently self diagnosed as part of the miswired tribe.
