Hi my name is Jayne,
My daughter was diagnosed with autism about a month ago. My oldest son has dyspraxia he is 25 now and works but we went through a difficult time trying to get him support. He still lives at home as he needs support.
I am an oldie..lol at 45 , single mum and from Glasgow. My life is my daughter, she also has Pica and Dyspraxia so she needs constant supervision and support. She is not at nursery as our council won't issue her with a shadow member of staff which I could fight but I like having her with me so I am not fighting that one. This way I know she is safe and happy.
Anyway... hi everyone lol.
Hi & welcome. How old is your daughter? By pica you mean eating inedible things? I hear it's quite common with dyspraxia.
I'm an autistic adult, but hope other parents can share their thoughts too.
