Hello

I have joined here as we are going through hell trying to get help for my son. He is 12 this month and we finally have been accepted for an assessment for Aspergers. We have only really found out since Xmas that he has this. The Ed Psych has told us that it is this and we must treat him that he has it to make our life easier and boy has it done just that. He is struggling at school big time and never wants to go and i believe he is being picked on. I also have a daughter who is 13 and i think she is struggling to come to terms with how her brother is so any advice would be greatly received. I am married to my lovely hubby who is their step father and we have a black labrador with hip dysplatia. 

I am hoping to find that i am not alone with all this and that everything we are experiencing is "normal"

    I am sorry to hear about your circumstances. I understand exactly how you feel as we have always been told there isn't anything wrong and it is our parenting. We now have CAMHS onside so hopefully it will get better. I hope that you get the help you so desperately need
