  • Hi loohan

Your daughter will do well with your support.

At times life will be hard but you will also have loads of good times/ laughs. You will see the world from a different prospective and it will make you think.

    love and hugs

  • Don't be so gutted, loohan!

Autism can be challenging, but it also has many positives.

Also the way you say "have always known something wasn't quite right", implies that she's relatively high functioning (i.e. to use a very bad example, she's not 'Rain Man' level autistic), if so then there's even less to be gutted about, and if she's up at the Asperger's/High Function Autism end of the spectrum then there's almost nothing to be gutted about at all!

See this as a positive thing, learn about all the positive aspects of being on the spectrum, and you'll probably find supporting her through the difficult times much easier.
