I may be repeating myself but i have worn glasses permanently since just before i turned 12. I am now 23. I had eye test Monday and i am now under NHS as my eyes have gotten so much worse. They are very bad for my age i was told and i am now high risk of Retinal Detachment. For those that don't know this is when the Retina comes away from the support lining of the eye and if you don't get treatment (operation) very quickly it can cause blindness. It seems so drastic and i am terrified. Especially as my eyes continuously hurt at mo. It just seems to have topped things off. :( Sorry if i am moaning too much, don't mean to just worried.
