Teeth cleaning

Hi

I am mum of 4 children, (2 diagnosed with aspergers and dyspraxia, and one waiting for an aspergers diagnosis). My older son also has a sensory disorder and my older daughter is waiting for her sensory disorder to be confirmed. All 3 hate cleaning thier teeth as they cannot stand the mint taste. If anyone else has this same problem I think I have an answer to help. I found in Boots on Sunday a lime and also a lemon flavoured toothpaste which my kids love. We used to have so many problems to get them to clean thier teeth once a day but now they are happy, willing and excited about cleaning them. They are so eager they now have been cleaning them twice a day. It is great. The toothpaste is made by Dawood and Tanner. It is more expensive than normal pastes but I don't mind if it means the kids clean their teeth. I bought it in the buy 3 for 2 offer and it cost just under £10. It has no age restriction so perfect for everyone where as the strawberry one is only designed for under 6's and my children are all past that age now. The toothpaste cleans very well, they taste great but it doesn't last long afterward. This is ideal for my kids as they don't like tastes to last very long afterwards. I took it to the dentist today when my daughter had an appointment and she checked out the ingredients and said it was an ideal alternative to mint. She was even going to recommend it to others with similar problems. I hope this helps others with similar problems. good luck and if you want to send me anyfeedback how you get on with it I would love to know.
