Hi all, I'm new to this and I hope you can offer advise and support. My 13 year old son has finally been referred to CAMHS. He had an assessment on Tuesday as my son has anger issues. It was finally good to hear someone else see that there is something underlying there and not just a problem. I would like to point out at this time that my son is visually impaired and all the people involved wouldn't send him for any other assessment as he is already statemented. My son has always found situations difficult and as he's got older got more and more aggressive but not violent. His secondary school wouldn't refer us anywhere it was my son's VI support worker that did, and I am now relieved that we are getting somewhere. Just wondering whether it is an ongoing situation that the support isn't there.
