My question is after diagnosis what other assessments are there?
G diagnosed 2 years 11 months but since then nothing. I have enquired about the Ed Psych assessing him but at 5 years 7 months apparently not required! How do they know what his strengths and weaknesses are to target his learning. I would be willing to spend DLA on private assessments but what do I go for?
I would have thought it was best to assess him throught his school career but if you don't know what's out there you don't know what to ask for.
Or is it just such a new science "they" have only got initial diagnosis on the first rung of the ladder?
