My son was formally diagnosed as autistic today

Hi, I am Sarah and my almost 3 year old son was formally diagnosed as autistic today.  I have found this to be actually a relief, as we have strongly suspected he was for almost a year now.  It would be great to connect with other families who are going through the same journey as us

  • Hi Sarah - My little boy Jack is 4 in December, we have been very aware of over 2 years, but we are still going down the channels Jack now needs a Speech and Language appointment prior to a detailed ASD assessment - I got so close to tears at his last appointment as it seems like there is a light at the end of the tunnel (like you say relief)
