3 Weeks Till Formal Diagnosis

Just want to thank everyone here at NAS for all the wonderful help.  I finally got the date for when my autism diagnosis will be declared to me which is the 21st of this month.  Wish me luck!!

  • Well my support worker visited this week, she knows the outcome but couldnt tell me. She did give me a hint at least when she said, what would be a good outcome for you and I said that if I was found positive for autism finally.  Her response was well lets just say you will be having a postivie day on the 21st :D

  • Wish you well for the day.  I was really nervous the night before mine. I kept going around in circles in my head.  What happens to me, if they decide it not and puts me right back at square 1 or earlier.  I really wasn't sure what would happen. Thankfully that never happened for me for was put on the Autism scale well and truelly. Not full Autism but well on the ASD scale and gave me help and can say Autism for Beneftist etc. I was diagnosed with 2/3rds autism with POS-NOS etc.... The book said not helpful but for me it been very helpful. Such a big relief !!! hope you achieve what you want to hear. Ps I was referred for Asperger's but Autism came back. But still a huge relief for me and was 45 a the time.
