Tomorrow comes...

Well last week was a bust, went to the hospital for my first appointment for diagnosis but it turned out that they had re-scheduled without telling me and I had to wait an hour in a busy room that thanks to noise was killing me slowly :( for them to tell me.

Anyway the ASD specialist did have a word with me and tried to calm me down.  She also explained that all they will be doing in this appointment is talking about my child-hood so I know what to expect.  Wish me luck!

  • Appointment went well, was an intense 3 hours but I made it though.  Actually realized how little I have actually changed since I was a child but also found out things I never knew like before the age of 5 I was completely non-verbal and was sent to speech therapy to help me.  Also was able to see that my very strong autistic traits were there in full view as a child but due to some family drama was never really looked into properly.

The consultant was fantastic and while like all doctors she refused to give me a straight answer when I asked her opinion I think I have done enough.  She was using the DISCO framework from what I could tell
