Had the Ed Pych in today and he has basically said he has Aspbergers, and hopefully we should get a diagnose as the peadatrican had said depending on what salt said and depending on what Ed Pych said then he would get a diagnose of High functioning Autism, obviously Ed Pych is not a doctor I know this but he will be well enough informed to be able to lay it on the line.

I just feel a huge sigh of releif, i was so nervous, as a parent you lways think your parenting is questioned it is so nice to be able to think No! its not us!

I know I have winged and moaned on here like goodness knows what but I feel getting somewhere will actually make a difference to our lives xxxxxx

  • I dont think we wil be waiting for an assessment as the peadatrician has said she will give him the diagnose dependant on the ed pych report and his Salt report in which i will be really grateful because we wont be hanging around much longer, hes only been in the system since he was 2 n half and hes now 8 nearly 9.

  • I know the feeling. No one  believed me when I said I thought my son had autism. Eldest has this also so I know the signs. Three years of me knowing and two months ago when son was Asigned  a portage worker..she told me he has ASD. Partner didn't believe.  Now he does. Family don't.  But I know now that I'm not going mad thinking it up myself. Unfortunately  now the long wait for the assessment  date for diagnosis officially.  Xx
