New - 15 month old son displaying some red flags

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and am pleased to be a member.  My wife and I wanted some advice as we recently noticed some behaviour which are not present in our 15mth old son.

Red Flags, doesn’t do:-

Respond to his name when called

No eye contact when being fed or changed

Does not point

Does not include you in play or glance up for eye contact

Does not share toys or bring them to you to

Does not engage you for help if he cannot reach something on a table like a drink

Very little eye contact generally

Does Do:-

He will wave “bye bye” if we prompt him

He will engage with eye contact and claps if we sing “wind the bobbin up”

He will approach members of family for a cuddle unprompted

He will kiss on the cheek if asked

He does babble and also says “Mama” and “Dada” and sometimes repeats “good”

Does find peekaboo funny and sometimes waits in anticipation

Does raise hands when wants to be picked up

Smiles if you smile at him

Sometimes follows a point to see what we are pointing too

I know it’s difficult without seeing him but I really wondered if we should be concerned with the doesn’t do’s at this stage or is it still quite early and will they develop.

Your experiences and advice would be appreciated.

Kindest regards,
