Project

I am currently awaiting for my GP to finish my refferal and get it sent off to the appropriate place, in this time I am a bit of a prisoner of my own mind so I thought to myself, why not make this a project? the project is too get onto paper the best ways to describe the realities of Autism Spectrum Disorder, I am not even sure if I have it yet however I do have a strong suspicion it is much more fitting than what I previously thought (ADD). Anyway, here is what I have got down.

As an introduction to whatever you might call this

I would like to say that people have a misinterpretation

on what being on the spectrum actually means and

i believe I fall onto this spectrum somehow because

my thought process is noteably different to other

 peoples

(I tend to notice this more in intellectual ways,

from what I interpret to be me trying to compensate for

myself in the past).

it effects some worse than it does others,

the way I think of it is that there is a "glitch in the matrix", I am referring to my brains chemical makeup? I can't describe what I mean by that to a full extent...

but it makes sense too me.

does anyone else feel like this? as in does anyone feel that  am sort of touching on the subject with a different approach? (sorry for bad spacing I wrote alot of this in notepad)

  • Hiya. You've hit on the very reason that I'm here in the first place. There isn't much point in gathering all of this knowledge and then keeping it quiet.

For my part, I hope that my offerings help people with understanding, support, explanations, agreement, and simply just with being here as a friend. We live in lonely places, and it's so comforting to know that we have a community, it's (partly) here, and it's open to everyone. It takes a lot of weight off to know that whatever you think, feel etc, you are not alone.

So yes, good project. No information is bad (but it's bad to have NO information), no opinion is 'wrong' or 'right' (but should always be stated freely) and no help, however given, is uselss. Let's make it a better world for the AS children to come, we can do no more than our best.

You can call it a 'glitch in the matrix', I've thought of it that way too, once, but now I prefer to think of it as a quantum chip, but we haven't learned yet how to use it.
