Autistic or not? Peaditricain appointment soon

Ok so where to start... Basically my son is now 4 Years and 8 months old and right from the start we have had problem after problem! Bare with me Its hard to remember every detail and aspect! Problems started when he was roughly 2 years old and was constantly having seizures! (7 In a year) Hospital put it down to attention seeking Basically got palmed off! Early on into playschool he was having trouble with speech and often becoming attached to certain figures and went through an aggressive stage of biting other children where the other child would draw blood!! Started having appointments with speech therapy and after 3 attempts of going to the doctors to have my son reffered for a hearing test (being Palmed off again) we finally got one thanks to speech therapy writing a letter to my gp explaining he needed one! Turns out he had glue earnand hasn't been hearing properly! Anyway 6 months on he is still significantly delayed in his speech on a scaled of 4 where he should be between 7-23 and according to the peaditricain he is also delayed in his learning by 2 Years!! I have a feeling my son is showing lots of signs of autism from not having many friends to lots of obsessive behaviour for example on holiday in the buggy if the hood wasn't up and he wasn't strapped in with the bar across and the blanket over him he would throw a wobbly!! Also seems to have a thing for hats seems like a comfort thing that makes him feel safe! Also when I'm around and someone asks him a question he will get very nervous and won't look at the person and stairs straight at me as if he's looking for the answer or me to answer for him! We also have bad situations when getting him to use the toilet! 2 years we have been toilet training him and he's constantly coming home from school with wet trousers same at home!! I'm just looking for advise really and where to get help as the healthcare professions just seem to palm me off! Also I must add he's also involved with senco at school and getting 15 hours one to one support! We have an appointment again with the peditraican in November for a re assesment since he's had the grommet op!
