pediatric assessment. what next?!

Thanks for sharing your experience of child diagnosis. There are two ways of seeking a diagnosis for a child either through the NHS or privately. There are serious issues with private diagnosis, however, as some Local Authorities don't accept the diagnosis. As your son is under the care of the NHS, a doctor would have referred you to someone who is qualified to carry out a diagnostic assessment such as a paediatrician , clinical pshycolgist or a psychiatrist.
