My son is 9 and since his diagnosis around 5 years ago has had a very limited diet of basically bread products, so he'll eat asian flatbreads, garlic bread etc..had doughnuts when he was younger, and he likes dry baguettes from the big supermarkets, typically 'skinning' them and discarding the rest..liquid intake is veerrry limited and only and exclusively 'coke' he'll go through around 20 tins a day..but total amount consumed will be around 2 tins in a day..the rest is discarded,..my immediate concern is how the heck can i administer something for his extreme constipation and associated health problems, he wont ever take any medication and the lst 3 days has been unbearable for me to watch him keeling over in pain...im feeling very lonely in a cruel world.. , realistic help, and i use that word loosely, i have never had,ALL the agencies and red tape organisations i have come accross in my 5 years of struggling to get my son relevant help- have been useless so i ask....CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
