Saturday night our son had a seizure & was omitted to hospital so far everything has come back clear we are currently waiting on results from blood cultures
we are also waiting to have an eeg done they did try to do this 3 years ago as he was having absences but failed due to our son not being happy about having the electrodes attached to his head our paediatrician at the time put it down our son just zoning out when not interested in something
Lately we have noticed that when he has a meltdown he will zone out like he is rebooting
reading on things about epilepsy that a lack of sleep & stress can cause seizure now that's going to be fun when he doesn't sleep & gets very stressed
. My son's eeg did not show epilepsy. I have heard that some people can have an episode brought on my emotions. If this turns out to be the case with your son then perhaps your paed can do his bit and/or refer you to an epilepsy nurse?
