Hello. My son 21 months old was referred for MDA by CAHMS who has seen him for 6 months now. I had the observation appointment Friday before the MDA. He spent 5 minutes in the room with my son, who was screaming at the door. He said my son didn't look autistic he calmed down for a min and found a shape sorter so started to play and then went back screaming at the door. The paed said because my son played his not autistic and he looked fine. And I make him the way he is being anxious ? Not the fact he was raising his voice at me at all. He also informed me he didn't like CAHMS report bout my son as she was wrong. I'm confused because now we are back wih CAHMS he won't send him for MDA. But yet we still have a support worker round every week. I see my son getting more sensitive bout noise and. More ridgid in routine. He will only eat rice. Etc etc etc I truely believe my son is autistic. But is this the end of the road or do I try again? i out him in a nursery but he would just come home covered in hives and excezma and complently meltdown so I removed him because he was a state. Looks like I might have to put him back in. Help?? What do you do no MDA
