I don't know if this is the right place to discuss this, but I have been desperately trying to get through to the helpline this afternoon for nearly one hour for advice on getting support to help me deal with my autism (I am 43 years of age). There is so much information on this site that I find it rather overwhelming & confusing to deal with, therefore need someone to guide me. I started my attempts to get through to someone in fairly good spirits, however, because of the ridiculously long waiting times where the phone automatically hangs up after a while trying to get through with no success whatsoever, I am now in a bit of a state emotionally, something I could really do without. Can somebody please tell me what the problem is, and where I go from here?
