I am new on here, and glad i have found somewhere to chat to others in the same situation.
My son has been diagnoised with Autisum after 5 long years. He is now 8 and just gone into juniors.
It didnt come as a shock to us as we always knew but i do feel gutted for him and i do get a bit upset at the thought he will always struggle with every day life for the rest of his life.
Does anyone know what kind of support we will now get? The doctor said he was going to write up a report to send to the school and in the mean time i will speak to his teacher to let her know whats what.
