Is being Different Something to feel Uneasy about?

So.... I am a Gay guy.... and i dont feel bad about it im actually Kinda Proude  of it, but i also feel some what un easy of it as well as it Stresses me out and makes me feel if my Decisions have been a good choice for me, Its a very weird feeling when i look at couples and always think to Myself "why dont i have anything like that" and it puts me in a very Unstable Position. Its just the feeling of like my thoughts and feelings i get when i look at some of the people in work or just out walking around, it makes me feel like i cant or will never find anyone due to how i am mentally as i have a lot of things wrong with me mentally.

I have savior depression and savior Anxiety, plus Very bad social anxiety Were i find it super Difficult to even talk to a random stranger and have a full conversation with them unless they come up to me and Continue to Push the conversation along, (this aint including The Potential Of me having OCD or ADHD and or Autism) It gets to me every time because i then feel like i cant make any friends as much as find someone to potentially call mine in the future.

Sorry for rambling on and on as i kinda hate Doing it as i always have the feeling of People actually don't care about the problems you have cus as much as i have bad mental health and all that a lot of others have it a lot worse than me but it kinda puts me in the sad mood of like feeling Lost or feeling Forgotten as its just the constant remainder of like "People do care"

but yeah just asking as I'm actually in a okay mood rn.... might change later as i think of what i said... but hope not. anyways thanks for Listening and or commenting on this with advice as it really really does mean a heck of a lot.

  • Having serious mental health struggles definitely makes forming relationships harder and more complicated, but it doesn't make it impossible.

You don't need to have everything completely sorted out or under control before someone could want to be with you. I think that what usually matters more is self-awareness, knowing your limits, being honest about them, and finding a way to talk at a pace you can actually manage.

A good relationship obviously isn't about finding someone to fix you or expecting a partner to carry everything. Another person can't cure your struggles, but being with the right person can give you a safe space to face them. Struggling with depression and social anxiety can feel isolating, but that kind of difficulty often builds a real sensitivity toward others, and I believe that's something people genuinely value.

I can understand why seeing couples around can easily trigger that panic of being left behind, but I'd say that getting close to people usually happens slowly, and I believe that often through shared interests, not by forcing yourself to chat up strangers. Speaking from my own experience, I found the best connections when I stopped actively looking and focused instead on things that were genuinely important to me, like hobbies, interests, studies or work. It took the pressure off, and possibly made me more relaxed, and naturally made me easier to be around. I don't know the exact mechanics, but it worked.

You certainly aren't wasting anyone's time by talking about this.

  • Yeah i get that its almost like it does Trigger this like panic or Sence of being left behind it always puts me in this almost Bad mood that you cannot get me out of unless i leave that situation myself and it really sucks cus i cant just up and walk off from my job i kinda have to sit there and just ignore it to the best of my ability. Im not stressed out about me needing to find Someone either im okay for rn by myself Its just the feeling of i want it cus i never actually had anything proper.

I understand where your coming from though as its kinda like the same thing i struggle with but the sence of being left behind or feeling lost I have found out might mean i ave BPD as well which is just.... Great but its Unknown at this time.

Why I apologized is i have found myself to be quit annoying or making no Sentce to most people i message or talk to as i ramble on, that's why i apologized.
