This question has probably been asked before, but I don't really want to go through every post about it to find the answer, but how do you go about getting asessed for autism privately? I've been struggling with waiting lists and other problems with the NHS for years now and it's got to a point that I need support more than ever. I've tried looking on the internet but haven't really come up with anything.
Do I have to go throug ha GP for private diagnosis? Or, is there a specific place I can contact for this. I live in the north of Scotland so any services available in England only aren' of any use to me unfortunately.
