Problem with exhaustion - any ideas?

I've been physically exhausted for months and although it's getting slightly better I find myself in bed most of the day  several days of the week. When I looked this up, apparently exhaustion and lethargy are commoner in old age. I'm having blood tests and taking vitamin B12 and iron off my own bat. I wonder if anyone has information on autism and exhaustion in older age; perhaps one of the moderators has NAS guidelines? Do any older autistics find this a problem?

    How is your sleep?

Do you feel relaxed during the day or always on edge?

I find that meditation helps me relax physically and this leads to better quality sleep and this leads to me being less tense the next day.

The techniques I learned during this also enable me to rapidly reduce tension when I am in a stressful situation that allows me to cope better with it.

You have the medical side under control with the experts from what you describe so I would consider looking at the mental side as well.

I feel relaxed just extremely fatigued. I oversleep a lot. I'm not depressed but simply lack motivation. Meditation is a good idea - I used to do that years ago. I've just finished a campaign, after many years, so that must have added to this issue. Yes, you are right about the mental side; I'm having a lot of dreams which make sense of some issues I have/had.
