My son has finally after a ten year battle got a diagnosis of ASD. He's 13 now. I thought I'd be prepared for this as it's what I do as a teaching job but I feel hopelessly lost! What do I do now to get the right support for him. I've been told to apply for a DLA but the form looks scary, also have to prepare for a multi agency review at his school. Arrrr help would be gratefully received ...thanks

  • Thank you ... It's been such a fight to get this far... I do need to step out the box and deal with it but it's a very emotional time at the moment... I diagnosed my son years ago with the understanding I had but now it's in black and white it's seems harder... But thanks again researching may help clarify my thoughts..
