Well I finally received confirmation that I will start my ADHD medication titration, it should be arriving tomorrow! 

I'm a bit nervous to say the least. I've been prescribed a low dose stimulant to see if I can tolerate it and then they'll increase it until they find a suitable dose.

Has anyone else been down this route, did it help and did it affect your autism?

  • Well today was the day. 

    I had an omelette as your supposed to have protein of breakfast and then took it.

    After about an hour I felt something like a espresso hit which gradually sort of dissipated and now it's just sitting in the background, I'm aware of it (just).

    My blood pressure and heart rate are around where they usually sit.

    Mine is supposed to be a slow release and I've been told that it should last 12-15 hours but time will tell.

    So it's early days but so far nothing horrible has happened. (Yet)
