Well I finally received confirmation that I will start my ADHD medication titration, it should be arriving tomorrow! 

I'm a bit nervous to say the least. I've been prescribed a low dose stimulant to see if I can tolerate it and then they'll increase it until they find a suitable dose.

Has anyone else been down this route, did it help and did it affect your autism?

  • I have! Unfortunately I can’t disclose what medication I have taken, but stimulants have helped me. I have noticed that on the medication it does feel like I can socialize better, which I attribute to me being more capable of focusing in on conversations and noticing details/patterns more easily in speech.
