Im currently waiting assesment for my 6 year old son,
.he was seen by a peadratrition last october and refered to the asd pathway
I contacted the pathway in march as he hadnt bern seen to be tokd he was on the list it is a 12 -14 month wait and should be seen by christmas this year.
2 weeks ago the educational psychiatrist camd to asses him in school her findings were that he is on the spectrum an needs to be seen by the pathway, she said she would check his referal to which i said he had been refered allready
so on saturday i recieve a letter ftom her to say that he hasnt been refered !
I have phoned the pathway this morning who says that he was only refered in july which is wrong as i have the letter he saying he was refered in oct, the telephone convo in march and i recently went kn training with the asd team for parents whos child has been refered to the pathway
So waiting for a return call to see what is going on, feeling anoyed and let down.
How could they have lost his refereal? I just dont understand
