hi , my youngest son is 7, he was diagnosed with asd/on the spectrum yesterday by camhs. my husband and i asked if there was amore specific diagnosis, we were told that they were no longer allowed to catigorize the asd. has anyone else had this ? my son has also been diagnosed with adhd. not sure what to think . i knew he was different from a very young age. although hearing the diagnosis was a relief in many ways, i feel confussed about it. 
and i,m struggling to process this myself. can anyone confirm this is right.
