RSI and Other Stimming Injuries

I close my hands a lot. I keep my fingers straight and quickly draw my middle, ring, and little fingers flat into the base of my thumb. I like it to make a quiet snapping/clapping sound. Often I'll slightly delay my middle finger, so I get two snaps instead of one. I suppose it's a sort of "flappy hands lite" action.

When I write "a lot", I mean probably many hundred times a day with both hands. I think I'm getting a bit of RSI in my fingers, they feel a bit stiff and sore. I eased off a few weeks ago and the pain subsided, but I'm back at the stimming again and the (slight) pain is back. I'll have to take another break.

Has anyone else injured themselves from over-enthusiastic stimming? Do tell.
