I hadn't considered that sleep patterns might be affected by autism until a post on the facebook neurodivergent adults group linked staying up late with quiet productive alone time. I don't know if there are studies on it, but it's introduced me to chronotypes.
I definitely most fit the wolf, although the 7:30am start most of the infographics seem to suggest even seems an early start to me! I've always struggled getting up in the morning, but find it easy to push bedtimes later than I should. It's always annoyed me that even "flexible" workplaces often expect you to still be available for daily meetings from 9am.
Any thoughts? Experiences? Is it something others have thought about or discussed in relation to autism?
