New Sandwich!

I’m sorry, the whole thing sounds wrong. Gherkins are too slimy. I love cheddar cheese sandwiches, I eat them practically every day.

You could make chicken sandwiches, that would also solve your other problem. 

Yes cheese sandwich is prob my go to.  Nowdays mostly in my panini toaster.

I do love marmite & cottage cheese on toast - as my ultimate Umami breakfast or late snack

But will pass on a potato sandwich - although I love potatoes (except boiled)

I do like to toast a cheese and pickle sandwich, it has to be the small chunk pickle. I bought a George Formby machine, that makes a nice job of it. Not sure about cottage cheese, the texture just looks wrong. I like marmite just on buttered crumpets.
