Break in my Schedule

Hey All,

I have recently found a break in my important schedule and this has caused me major stress. How can I resolve this problem?

  • Hi Jack, I think you probably need to eleborate.

I assume having a structured life around a timetable - you find a period without it difficult to handle.

You could invent a project to fill the space - there must be articles or reports you could study to catch up with developments.  Do a web search on new developments in your field. Identify an on-line course you could do - one that gives you additional useful skills. Or write a review of issues you have identified over the past two years, identifying potential improvements or changes.

Give yourself a schedule of such tasks to complete on a week by week basis.

Having an un-timetabled period can be stressful, but sometimes "down-time" is an opportunity for an overhaul, upgrade, rethink. It gives you an opportunity to be that much better when your normal schedule is back up and running.
