My nephew was officially diagnosed with autism last week. I assumed he would have been diagnosed with aspergers due to his high functioning nature. My sis in law said they no longer use aspergers as a term and prefer to use only autism spectrum condition.
is this true or is it a local decision in the area they live (Lincoln)?
Ive never heard of this proposal before and I support people with autism as part of my job.
