I've been through several brands of toothbrushes. Oral B, Phillips x 2. Wave. All 3 have had timers and they make the brush vibrate/rotate in a different pattern after the 2 mins are up. The Phillips sonicare has a strong vibration, the oral Bs just slightly rotate to a different pattern. All 3 brands didn't make tone noises. I hope this helps
