What to do with this SLT

Hello, we have a 6 years old son with ASD, we paid a female Speech and Language Therapist from STROUD, Gloucestershire to have a check and identify issues on my son, we paid her £780 for up to 3 hours work to check and write report in October. After visited my son's school and took the money, she basically disappeared. We have been asked her for a report for over two months since by sending her several emails and phoned her twice. She only replied us a very short email said that my son needed to have help twice a week without any explaination or support edvidents, we cannot use this piece short email to discuss with school, or to use it to discuss with our GP.

Please advise us for what to do?

  • Thank you very much IntenseWorld and Longman. Sorry for the double-posted, The cause: when the message was first posted and I found it was a comment and followed a different discussion lead, I struggled more than 15 minutes to figure out how to post the message as a discussion. While I were doing that, the excellent advice from IntenseWorld posted on the comments lead.

The SLT rubs salt in our injury and we are hopeless and able to do nothing. I am following and thanks your advices, will let you know the progress if there is any. We have many sad stories to tell since my son was diagnosed ASD since he was one and a half years old. We need advice on the ASD illness badly.

At the meantime if any one can tell me how to combine these two threads together will be wonderful.
