Hi all, apologies if there is already a thread on this, but I wonder if anyone has advice on helping my teenage daughter bring some physical activity back into her life. She was diagnosed with autism shortly after a burnout which occurred about a year after joining secondary school. Prior to this she had been (outwardly at least) a happy and active teenager. She has largely been confined to her room for the past 12 months and while my wife and I are trying to create as safe and understanding environment for her, we are really keen that she engages in some physical activity, no matter how minor. She has PDA traits and we are finding it very difficult to have discussions about activity/exercise with her. Any tips or advice, very gratefully received! Thank you.
