Hi - my son, aged 17, is in the care of CAHMS and diagnosed as autistic - he was prescribed venofaxine and Aripiprozole in April, shortly after which he reported excessive sweating - the sweating has impacted his mental health, becoming socially isolated, reluctant to leave the house and suicidal - he has titrated off both medications, over 4 weeks ago, and it now taking fluvoxamine instead - however he still reports excessive sweating - has any one experienced similar side effects when taking these medications? if so, how long did they take to resolve? - has anyone experienced similar symptoms due to heightened sensitivity, and if so, what has helped with either the symptoms or coping with them? - many thanks, N
