B12

i am unable to process vitamin b12, this results in many different problems.

i have trouble with my word retrieval causing me some anxiety when in conversation.

i can become fatigued at times.

i have a tingling in my left arm and leg (nerve damage).

my feet feel as if they are burning, this makes walking uncomfortable.

my doctor has been giving me b12 injections for almost a year now but tells my that neurological damage will most likely not mend, the best i can hope for is it shouldn't get any worse.

anyone else having trouble wit b12 deficientcy, if so how are you coping.

respect

thanks for responding. i understand the nerves thing as i have always stuttered when nervous.

for most of my life i was a bit of a wordsmith, quite an articulate little soul. a couple of years ago i began to find even simple sentences hard to put together, a year ago a blood test revelled a b12 defficiency. i wish it had been caught earlier but i'm not great at visiting the doctor, had i not been so silly i might not have suffered the neurological damage i have.

no more feeling sorry for myself as in reality my life is quite blessed.

keep well and keep in touch.
