dyspraxia and staying fit

hi! yesterday i finally got a diagnosis of DCD (also known as dyspraxia) and i find it extremely hard to balance and have very bad co ordination. my autism also makes me tend to only eat certain foods which can lack nutritional value and i can binge eat or not eat for a concerningly long time. i’m worried that a combination of these and my undiagnosed chronic fatigue are impacting my fitness. i try to do exercise but i find it so hard to balance even just walking can cause me to get injuries. does anyone have advice surrounding this matter? and is this the right place to post this because i’m not too sure sopleas tell me if it’s the wrong place

  • Have you tried basic bodyweight exercises? Squats, lunges, pushups, tricep dips on the seat of a chair, planks? These are mostly pretty stationary exercises. Obviously you start with the easy version of each exercise until you build strength over time. It’s a slow process but worth it.
