dyspraxia and staying fit

hi! yesterday i finally got a diagnosis of DCD (also known as dyspraxia) and i find it extremely hard to balance and have very bad co ordination. my autism also makes me tend to only eat certain foods which can lack nutritional value and i can binge eat or not eat for a concerningly long time. i’m worried that a combination of these and my undiagnosed chronic fatigue are impacting my fitness. i try to do exercise but i find it so hard to balance even just walking can cause me to get injuries. does anyone have advice surrounding this matter? and is this the right place to post this because i’m not too sure sopleas tell me if it’s the wrong place

I am Dyspraxic, also Autistic and have various physical and mental health conditions. I particularly have weak ankles - so I find avoiding any areas with rough ground (fields, rocky paths, etc) beneficial, because I can easily get hurt and switching between either TOTALLY flat shoes in the summer (I wear Berkinstocks) or high-ankled, lace up walking boots in the winter, a good option. The totally flat sandals help me feel everything under my feet and in the wet muddy weather, the strap up boots support my troublesome ankles from rolling on bad surfaces.

Staying upright is hard, but that is a cross we must bear.

    Good luck!
