Hi all, since we need to look out for eachother and all have bills to pay I thought it might be nice to make a thread to serve as a directory of autistic owned businesses, and autistic allied businesses where profits go directly to the care of an autistic person. Whether that's a big or small business or self employed. Here is a short list I have collected so far:Pin badges (Pawsitive Pins, UK based)https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PawsitivePins
Stim/fidget Toys (Fidgety Fingerz, UK based)https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/FidgetyFingerz
Cards (owned by NAS75030)www.etsy.com/UK/shop/deadgooddoodles Sensory Direct (ear defenders, weighted blankets, etc)https://www.sensorydirect.com/
Lanyards, pins, bangles, keyrings (DoodleBeth)https://www.etsy.com/shop/Doodlebethshop
Know another autistic owned or autistic allied business? Pls add it below... VMy DMs are also open to everyone so if you run an small business or are self employed yourself and afraid of falling foul of rule 8 then you can send me the link privately and I can share it here.
Hi there! I don't know if this counts exactly but I'm an Autistic Children's Author (Sophie McLelland) who has a series of books about disabilities! The series is on Amazon and it's called My Friends Are Different.
Congratulations! That's a big achievement! We should definitely support your business, when did you start writing books?
You are very welcome! You have definitely come to the right place (this autistic community) for promotion and interest in your books!
As your books cover neurodivergence and disability, would you consider posting about your business on the Scope disability community forum?
I am sure you would reach an ideal audience this way:

Thank you so much!

Absolutely! You are obviously very busy!

Good luck with this book, I hope it receives great reviews!
I seem to have quite a talent for producing books so quickly! I have another 5 books in the making currently.
The BSL book is called Bruno and His Forest of Friends and it follows a bear into the forest where everyone needs a little extra help!
Ok thanks for clarifying, in that case:
Gecko Community- alternative education and mentoring for autistic young people who cannot access mainstream school:

Neurodiverse Connection- Autistic led company providing training and 1:1 support for neurodivergent people:

Aucademy - Autistic led education platform

You are very welcome! The process seems to have all happened very quickly!
It’s great that your latest book includes BSL, what is it called?
Yeah and services, not just shops.
Thank you so much! I started writing them at the start of this year, published the first one on July 23rd and then published another 18! My latest book includes British Sign Language throughout it for accessibility!

Exactly! I completely understand what you mean. We should definitely support our fellow neurokin!
When you say autistic owned businesses do you just mean shops?
Here are some others I have just thought of:

Above is the shop of an autistic speech therapist who sells communication cards and handbooks about being autistic or ADHD.

Of course! Great idea!
If you can think of any more please add them here, as and when you find them, if you feel ike it, because it would be great to build a directory for members here I'm hoping if we get an extensive enough list to be able to take it to NAS to make as a proper page on their website.
