Witchcraft and the supernatural - experiences

Do you guys believe in anything like this?

If you have any experiences of witchcraft or the supernatural then I would love to hear it.

  • I sort of believe in witchcraft, yes- in the sense that I think it's a good way to focus your mind on something and change your outlook, which can then lead to the change that you wanted to make by doing a spell or ritual. I think people have a need for ritual and meaning in our lives and if this is the way that works for someone, that's awesome. And then of course certain plants are medicinal- or very much NOT medicinal!- so there's that aspect of it as well which genuinely does have more than a psychological effect.

Essentially, for those of you familiar with the Discworld series, my approach to witchcraft is much like that. I'm a very "here's a potion I made from roots I dug up at midnight- okay fine yes it IS soup, eat up, it's good for you" sort of person. Curing scurvy with the magic of, er, vegetables.

However, I don't believe in things like curses, or crystals curing terminal illness, or anything like that. It's more of a practice for personal growth for me.

100% agree - headology is the real magic.
