Lonliness/friends

Hi ive just joined. I live in Brighton i have 2 kids boy who is going to uni in sept and a girl of 14 who is non verbal severely autistic with chronic lung disease. She is my joy but its gonna get lonelier when my son leaves. My bf lives in london amd see him twice a week but i spend alot of time on my own. I have 1 best friend but she works full time and doesnt live local. So i am.looking for mum friends that know how this feels

Sorry to hear that you've been feeling lonely recently. If you are looking for other parents to talk to, I would suggest having a look at the autism services directory here on the site - https://www.autism.org.uk/directory - which can be filtered by type of service and postcode, so support groups or parents' groups in Brighton, for example. There were a couple of organisations I found which put on parents' groups or coffee mornings in the Brighton area:
