Can anyone point me to any research or data which addresses how contact arrangements on divorce might impact on and be best structured for autistic children?
8 year old child really struggles with transitions and one of her parents is pushing hard for arrangement where she spends alternate weeks at each parent’s home including during term time.
it would be good to understand if there has been any research on this issue which could be helpful for both parents to consider child’s needs in the context of how transitions may be even more difficult for her.
