I moved into my flat in September. At the time I was living with a couple. They broke up in January, and since like February it’s just been me and her living in the flat. They broke up because he was emotionally and occasionally physically abusive towards her and sometimes their cats. Before they broke up I was contemplating moving out because I couldn’t physically stand living with him as he was an atrocious person. As they technically share the cats he occasionally has come over to give food etc… how ever recently he came over and was harassing her and grabbing her in order to get her to have sex with him. After that I thought we agreed he wasn’t allowed in the flat anymore as he made us both uncomfortable. However again, in the last week he’s been over a couple of times and when he is over I am so anxious and uncomfortable and don’t feel like I can leave my room.
my parents suggest I confront her about it and have a conversation with her but reminded me she is as entitled to have people over. My friends however think I should call the police whenever he comes over.
does anyone have any advice on the situation?
