Assessment Wait Times

Hello, 

I’m new here! 

I had an appointment with my GP last week and she agreed to refer me for an ASD assessment. I was wondering how long people have had to wait for an assessment? I like in Kent if that makes any difference for wait times. The doctor said it would be quite a while but she didn’t specify rough time frames and I have no idea who to ask.

  • years and years and years and years, or perhaps they just lost my details... or perhaps they rang me but was ineligable over the phone and it perhaps was the one i thought said they was carphone warehouse but probably said cahms or something and then i blocked them. either way it will be so long you will forget it, never get contacted and when you do you will think its a random spam call be too socially shy to answer it and never be contacted properly or followed up on
