Fatigue

I'm suffering from some serious fatigue at the moment. Anxiety is so bad and I think it's causing a lot of side effects like the fatigue but there's also a lot of dizziness that I'm really struggling to come to terms with.

I work as a farmer which is doing okay but struggling since COVID and now I'm not able to work like I did which means my family are having to do the majority of the work. I still don't own the farm. I really want to but it's basically renting everything. I can apply to the bank for a grant to help, there's already the building's and land, but everything needs fixing up so it would be a worthwhile investment if I can write my business plan out well I'm hoping they'll agree. I have no qualifications but a lot of determination and a lot of experience as I've been on the farm pretty much all my life.

But this fatigue is destroying me, I can't do anything without feeling tired and dizzy. Even walking in the house is a bit much for me sometimes.

Is there anything I can do to help with this?

  • It sounds like you are experiencing fatigue and dizziness, which you attribute to anxiety. You work as a farmer, but your ability to work has been impacted by your symptoms. You are considering applying for a grant to invest in the farm, but have no qualifications and are experiencing physical limitations. You are seeking advice on how to manage your fatigue and dizziness.

First, it's important to consult with a medical professional to rule out any underlying medical conditions that may be causing your symptoms. Once you have done so, there are some steps you can take to manage your anxiety and improve your energy levels.

Practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or meditation, can help alleviate anxiety and reduce stress levels. Exercise, such as walking or yoga, can also be beneficial for managing stress and improving energy levels. Ensuring that you are eating a healthy, balanced diet, and getting enough restful sleep can also help improve your energy levels.

In terms of your career goals, it may be helpful to seek out resources and support for developing a business plan and acquiring the necessary qualifications for running a farm. Consider reaching out to local organizations or community colleges for assistance.

Overall, managing your anxiety and taking steps towards your career goals may help improve your fatigue and dizziness. Remember to prioritize self-care and seek support from professionals and loved ones as needed.
