What helpful home adaptions/modifications have you done?

I've just bought a 2.5 L tin of 'Forest Green' paint to do some of the walls in my new house as literally every wall in every room is bright white and it's causing sensory overload. Green is a very restful colour and my favourite colour too

I've also bought an anti-glare screen for my laptop because i've noticed over the last 3 or 4 months that i'm having to spend less and less time on it because it's hurting my eyes/head

Lastly...i've bought some headphones to cancel out other house noises like my fridge, cars/people passing by outside etc as i get bombarded by these all at once

Are there any other things that will help that i've not thought of?

  • All my devices have blue light filters on so they don't seem so horribly bright, and I've got a little box of cleaning products in the bathroom and downstairs loo to reduce the steps needed to clean up and hopefully deal with some of my executive dysfunction.

Forest green is a lovely colour, by the way- I have a little craft room upstairs in my house and I'm planning to paint it the same colour.
