Adult Asperger's Help

I've noticed for quite a while that there is real discontent by the lack of provision from NAS and like.

I thought this charity I have come across, based in Northampton, may be useful for someone on here. It is also looking from around the end of this year to start offering an adults' diagnostic serivce provided by an experianced GP

They also offer other services (e.g. counsellors) and family services etc.

I know this won't solve everything but hope it goes some way to help someone in need.

  • @Azaezl: OMG you sound like you had just as much of a crap time with your CAMHS as we did with our CAMHS and my eldest daughter.  This is why people feel forced into going private.  Some people go on holidays, some people buy a new car, some people...unfortunately have to pay their hard-earned money on getting adequate health treatment that the NHS fails to provide.  I worked for years, paying into the system, my husband still does and still, we are failed by services.  Makes my blood boil.  There is a saying "Live in hope, die in despair" and Hope, you chose your username clearly hoping for the best, sadly our NHS frequently does not provide the best, or even acceptable treatment.
